A CATALOGUE OF THE ENTIRE LIBRARY Of the Reverend Conyers Middleton, D. D. Principal Librarian of the University of Cambridge, &c. lately deceased. CONTAINING A very curious Collection of the Greek and Roman Classics, of the best Editions; Books of Prints, Antiquities, Coins, Medals, Inscriptions, Lexicons, Critics, and the scarcest Authors in most Branches of polite Literature and useful Learning. Also a choice Collection of the best Italian and French Writers. All of them in fine Condition, and many on Royal Paper. Which will be sold by public Auction, (By Order and for the Benefit of his Widow) At the Great Room at the Rose Tavern, near Temple-Bar, on Monday, March 4, 1750-1, and the nine following Evenings (Sunday excepted) beginning exactly at Six o'Clock By Samuel Baker, Bookseller. Catalogues may be had of Mr. Whiston in Fleet-Street, Mr. Do$sley in Pall-Mall, Mr. Chapelle in Grosvenon-street, Mr. Baker in R$ss$l-street, Covent-Garden; Mr. Thurlbourn at Cambridge, Mr. Fletcher at Oxford, and at the Rose Tavern, Temple-Bar. N.B. The Books may be viewed three Days before the Sale begins.

Conditions of Sale. I. THE highest Bidder is the Buyer, but if any Dispute arise, the Book or Books to be put up again. / II. That no Person advance less than Three-pence at each bidding; nor less than Six-pence, after a Book arises to 10s. and 1s. after a Book comes to a Pound. / III. That each Person give in his Name, and pay 5s. in the Pound (if demanded) for what he buys, and that no Book be delivered in Time of Sale, without being then paid for. / IV. The Books are believed to be perfect, but if any appear otherwise before taken away, the Buyer is at his Choice to take or leave them. / V.
